Computer-aided design stations enable design engineers to explore far more options more quickly and labs are equipped with many features for accelerated testing. Allied Air's manufacturing facilities in Orangeburg, South Carolina and Blackville, South Carolina feature state-of-the art metalworking equipment. Coil-fed presses, turret presses and automated machine lines consistently produce high-quality parts. Computer-controlled equipment is used throughout the facilities for metal punching and forming, tube bending and 100% run test devices. Many parts are fabricated on the assembly line. For example, gas furnace cabinets are built on an automated machine line, which has roll-forming and bending equipment that uses a single sheet of pre-painted steel.
