AirEase™ is one of the most respected names in the heating and cooling industry. It is a name synonymous with product integrity, dedicated service and industry leadership. Armstrong Furnace was founded in 1928 in Columbus, Ohio, by a premier manufacturer of home heating equipment, Lennox Furnace Company. Lennox sold Armstrong Furnace to another outstanding firm in 1957. But in 1988, Lennox International Inc. again acquired ownership of its offspring, now called Allied Air Enterprises Inc.

Maintaining a competitive edge through product research and development has always been a high priority at Allied Air. In the recent years alone, the company has invested millions in state-of-the-art research and development facilities. Computer-aided design stations enable design engineers to explore far more options more quickly and labs are equipped with many features for accelerated testing. These resources not only enable Allied Air to develop more efficient and cost-competitive products, they shorten agency approval cycles. This, in turn, shortens design and development time frames and gets products to the market sooner.

Allied Air's manufacturing facilities in Orangeburg, South Carolina and Blackville, South Carolina feature state-of-the art metalworking equipment. Coil-fed presses, turret presses and automated machine lines consistently produce high-quality parts. Computer-controlled equipment is used throughout the facilities for metal punching and forming, tube bending and 100% run test devices. Many parts are fabricated on the assembly line. For example, gas furnace cabinets are built on an automated machine line, which has roll-forming and bending equipment that uses a single sheet of pre-painted steel.
As a consumer, it's important to know that all AirEase™ products are 100% run tested before they leave the factory. Just another reason that AirEase™ products are built for life. Yours. |
